Profile

Laboratory for robotics and control for manufacturing of medium-/large sized components.
AIMEN as RTO will support EU Industry in technology development and validation, benchmarking and results exploitation for a future industrialisation and commercialisation of the different technologies developed.
AIMEN will contribute with its competences in i) CAD-based intuitive offline programming; ii) Advanced guided motion and visual servoing including real-time hand-guiding of 6DoF manipulators; iii) Automatic trajectory generation for multi-redundant robots; iv) Mechatronics focused on integration of robotics, adaptronics and flexible manipulation devices; v) System integration and system development applying multi-layer control systems and orchestration of distributed control architectures; vi) Augmented reality for HRI (based on projection mapping) developing user-centric tools for supporting manufacturing and quality assurance tasks.

Also, AIMEN will provide its facilities for the validation of robotics technologies focused on the manufacturing and processing of medium- and large-size components, combining collaborative mobile manipulators, high-payload industrial robots and high-payload robot platforms.
