Profile

Ortelio Ltd is a research focused company, working on cloud robotics. We are developing applications that give robots intelligence to take over human tasks. We work together with robot manufacturers and user groups, to co-create solutions with a great potential to enter the market. We have developed a Robotic Applications Platform which enables: • easy and fast development of robot apps • re-usability of robot apps • distributed processing The platform is a 3-tier system, aspiring to support all Unix-based robots, providing APIs in C++, JavaScript and Python. Furthermore, the platform enables different robots to share information and gain knowledge. The platform enables the developer to concentrate on the high-level programming of a robot, providing functionalities such as Computer Vision, Deep Learning, SLAM, and other AI-related algorithms, to enable robots with a variety of perceptive abilities. These abilities can be of course tailored to specific needs of robots and contexts.
