Profile

Politecnico di Milano (POLIMI) is the largest technical university in Italy, ranking 16th worldwide in the 2019 QS World University Ranking in Engineering and Technology. Founded in 1863, Politecnico di Milano has two main campuses located in Milan and five more branches in the Lombardy region.
In the field of robotics, POLIMI hosts several research groups, including more than 20 faculty members, and 40 PhD students and Research Assistants, in two Departments, with expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Cognition, Control and Mechatronics, Machine Learning, Perception, Robot Design and Realization, Benchmarking, Human Robot Interaction.
