Profile

The Brussels Human Robotics Research Center, BruBotics, is a joint initiative of 8 research groups of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) sharing a common vision: improve our quality of life through Human Robotics. Over 100 researchers from engineering, social sciences, A.I., rehabilitation sciences, human physiology, ageing studies, marketing,...are together striving to break the boundaries by jointly working on Human Robotics. Our research ranges from fundamental research on self healing soft robotics and compliant actuation to application driven research ranging from collaborative robots to social robots, from wearable robots such as exoskeletons and prostheses to AR/VR for health and manufacturing.
