SPRINT Robotics Collaborative  organises a unique Robotics Demonstration Event at the RDM Training Plant, Rotterdam in the Netherlands, on April 18th & 19th, 2018.

This SPRINT Robotics Demonstration Event is especially targeted at Asset Owners and Operators, Service Providers, Technology Developers, Regulators and Researchers in the Petrochemical Industry. Confirmed demonstrators are A.Hak Industrial services, Applus, Cybernetix, Diakont, ExRobotics, Flyability, GE Inspection Robotics, Invert Robotics, JettyRobot, RoNik, University of Nottingham, Quasset. The SPRINT Robotics Demonstration Event is an open event. There is no entrance fee, registration is required. Using robotics in the domain of technical inspection and maintenance of capital intensive infrastructure is of vital importance because of the urgency to minimise the impact on safety and the environment. As developments in this domain are moving very fast, SPRINT Robotics initiated this event where visitors can see some of the available innovative solutions in action.

SPRINT Robotics Collaborative is a new initiative for promotion of development, availability and application of robotics techniques in technical inspections and maintenance of capital intensive infrastructure. The RDM Training Plant Rotterdam is a unique public-private partnership project in the heart of the port of Rotterdam. The commercial sector and technical education are joining forces here to construct a real-life training facility aimed at both technical students and existing staff in the petrochemical and process industries.
