The lecture shed light on the interdisciplinary field of tension of social human-robot interaction. It provided insights into the development process of social robot platforms - from design aspects to the external appearance of a robot to the transfer of social-psychological approaches to prosocial robot behavior. To illustrate, selected current robot developments from the research of Dr. med. Kühnlenz in the private service sector, as well as collaborative robotics in the context of Industry 4.0, were presented.
