At the workshop, participants will first learn basics of robotics and see various types of robots. Then they will program Cubetto robots. After orotics and screenless coding, kids will learn how to control drones. European robotics week in Ston is organized by the Dubrovnik-neretva county Association of technical culture in cooperation with City of Dubrovnik Association of technical culture, Informatics club Futura and Aeroclub Nimbus within the Du STEM project, which is 85% co-financed from the European Social Fund and 15% from the State Budget of the Republic of Croatia. |

Con el proyecto "Robótica al servicio de las necesidades humanas" vamos a conocer el funcionamiento, montaje y programación de los robots. Gracias a la colaboración de Hisparob y al Colegio Estudio de Madrid, nos han prestado 10 kits de robótica para que nuestros ninjas puedan experimentar con ellos en el club gratuito CoderDojo Valencia de Bylinedu.org en un aula de la ETSID UPV. Durante las sesiones se crearán grupos de trabajo heterogéneos, siguiendo la filosofía de CoderDojo, para que todas las niñas y niños entre 7 y 17 años puedan experimentar con los procesos de creación, montaje y programación de los robots, y mentorizados por el voluntariado de Bylinedu. |

En particular el taller se centra en la robótica social y concretamente en el robot NAO. Las personas asistentes trabajarán en simulación con el robot tratando de solucionar un problema sencillo que se les planteará. Finalmente, la persona que haya conseguido resolver el problema de forma óptima, tendrá la oportunidad de probar sobre el robot real la solución desarrollada. |

The High Performance Humanoid Technologies Lab researches and develops humanoid robotic technologies and systems that perform versatile real-world tasks in interaction with humans. The open house day offers an insight into its current research. With the help of artificial intelligence, the robots of the ARMAR family sense their environment, interpret situations, recognize human intentions, understand natural language and proactively offer their assistance. This intelligent scene understanding and humanoid kinemarics allow the dynamic adaptation to very different situations in human working and living environments. The robots will demonstrate their skills in a kitchen and in an industrial workshop scenario. The analysis of human motions and their transfer to humanoid robots to learn new robotic skills will also be demonstrated. In addition, personalized prostheses and exoskeletons will be presented to help people manage their everyday lives. In addition to the lab tour, there will be the opportunity to get hands-on experience and interact with one of the various humanoid robots. |

In the framework of the European Robotics Week the Politecnico di Milano opens the Robotics Labs to the public. Robotics has been one of the main lines of research at the Politecnico since 1973, carried out at the Dipartimento di Elettronica, Informazione e Bioingegneria (DEIB). Research groups focused on autonomous and mobile robotics, industrial robotics, medical robotics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, artificial vision and machine perception work at DEIB. From 2019, at the Dipartimento di Elettronica, Informazione e Bioingegneria – DEIB, all these multidisciplinary skills were brought together in a single new large space: POLIMI Leonardo Robotics Labs. On November 26th, 2022, starting at 2:00 pm at Politecnico di Milano – Building 7, the Leonardo Robotics Labs will welcome interested visitors, with a tour that will show the projects our researchers are actively working on. |
