Humanoid Robots with Artificial Intelligence: Proactive assistants for humans
Show details
The High Performance Humanoid Technologies Lab researches and develops humanoid robotic technologies and systems that perform versatile real-world tasks in interaction with humans. The open house day offers an insight into its current research.
With the help of artificial intelligence, the robots of the ARMAR family sense their environment, interpret situations, recognize human intentions, understand natural language and proactively offer their assistance. This intelligent scene understanding and humanoid kinemarics allow the dynamic adaptation to very different situations in human working and living environments. The robots will demonstrate their skills in a kitchen and in an industrial workshop scenario.
The analysis of human motions and their transfer to humanoid robots to learn new robotic skills will also be demonstrated. In addition, personalized prostheses and exoskeletons will be presented to help people manage their everyday lives.
In addition to the lab tour, there will be the opportunity to get hands-on experience and interact with one of the various humanoid robots.
