SciRoc arrives in Bologna!

SciRoc has officially arrived in Bologna! The competition will take place at Palazzo Re Enzo, in the main square and heart of Bologna.

We are busy preparing the venue for our teams and audience arrival. The full competition will begin on Wednesday 8th September at 09.30 when our audience will join us at the historic venue to watch 14 international teams demonstrate their hard work and talent within the field of Robotics.

Everyone is welcome to attend, the event is free and registration is not required. Audience members can simply join us at the venue.

SciRoc will see the presence of global Robotics brands, and provides a fantastic opportunity for our teams and members of the public to meet industry leaders and innovators within a number of areas including Robotics, AI and Engineering.

The competition is made up of five Episodes and will run over three days, with Friday dedicated to the finalists battling it out to determine who will become our SciRoc Champion for 2021.

Awards will be presented to teams on Friday evening at our Award Ceremony which will close the competition. Our audience are encouraged to stick around however for our public debate. Starting at 19.30 join us at Cortile Guido Fanti. Come and join the conversation, and meet our researchers to discuss Robots, Smart Cities and Inclusion. Everyone is welcome and the debate is free to attend. There is no need to register, just join us from 19.30 onwards.

We’re thrilled to have arrived in Bologna and offer special thanks to Università di Bologna, Fondazione Alma Mater and Fondazione Innovazione Urbana who have partnered with us on the 2021 event.
