Robo.DU Day 2018

Robo.DU Day is an event with public talks about robotics & Arduino technology, presentations of 3D printers, first Dubrovnik electric bicycle and Smart. All visitors can participate in various workshops: LEGO's "Renewable Energy Sources", LEGO gaming, promotion and enrollment in the Center of robotics and Futura robotics workshop, designing proces using 3D pens, soldering and Code Club programming. There will also be demonstration of flying with drones, usage of Morse code messages and many more.

Robo.DU Day is planned as a day of exchange of knowledge and skills among students and young people of the City and the County. The idea of a well-conceived STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) is associated with this event.

Robotic workshop for elementary school kids divided into beginner and advanced groups.
Kids will work with Fischertechnik elements and modules, Arduino microcontrollers and Raspberry Pi.
Kids participating in RoboCup Junior Zagreb 2018 will practice for competition.

Futura robotics workshops 2018-2019

On our robotics workshops primary school students are building and programming Fischertechnik robots, secondary school students and older are working with Arduino. Workshops are held every Wednesday through the whole school year, started from November.

Workshops are held with the support of University of Dubrovnik and Association of Technical Culture City of Dubrovnik.

Robotic Day in CTK Rijeka

The younger students will learn about the basics of robotics and programming by using LEGO Mindstorms. Older students will engage in the process of creating small robotics and electronics projects using Arduino and micro:bit.

robotics@fer.hr is an affiliation of three robotics laboratories at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing: Laboratory for Underwater Systems and Technologies (LABUST), Laboratory for Robotics and Intelligent Control Systems (LARICS) and Laboratory for Autonomous Systems and Mobile Robotics (LAMOR). Together, these three labs cover a wide range of areas in robotics, including underwater, ground and aerial robotics, autonomous navigation, human-robot interaction, collective and automotive systems, etc. At the University of Zagreb Fair, robotics@fer.hr will present their work, research, equipment and technology, as well as potential research and study programmes to the public, and they will introduce the audience to the world of robotics in Croatia. Visitors will be able to learn about and see drones, NAO robots, the industrial robot Baxter and many others.

FER Open Day - Robotics Laboratories Tour

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering (FER) from the University of Zagreb will hold its traditional annual Open Day, which is a great occasion for many future students to not only see what the Faculty has to offer, but also to take a tour of the robotics laboratories, which are very active at the Faculty. Visitors will see what the labs look like, how the team members go about their everyday work, what technology they have and how they use it. This is also an opportunity to see some of the robots in action!
