A full day robotics fair will take place at the Carasso Science Park in Beer-Sheva. The fair will include robotic demonstrations including a 3D robotic simulator and a robotic xylophone player, robotic Lego games, robotic competitions including a robotic sumo event, and lectures by leading robotic scientists. The lectures will present agricultural robotics, biomimetics robotics, and brain-machine interfaces. The fair is organized in collaboration with the ABC robotics initiative, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, the Ministry of Education, Robotech technologies, Young Engineers, FIRSt Lego League (FLL), FIRST robotics Competitions (FRC), Beer-Sheva technology center. |

Adaptation of electronic Toys for children with palsry

Electronic Toys are received by the gereral public, and a group of students from University of Minho adapt those toys so that they can be used by children with palsry. This toys will be offered during the Christmas Season. This has been done for the last 10 years, but this year it was decided to include it in the ERW. On the 25/Nov the working area will be open to the general public Even though the task itself consists of moving devices (moving, light, sound, etc), this is carried out in the LAR laboratory which is filled with robotics, and people can visit the space. |

A Fábrica Centro Ciência Viva de Aveiro junta-se à celebração da Semana Europeia da Robótica, com o objetivo de promover e divulgar atividades e investigação em robótica. Nesta atividade, os participantes vão ficar a conhecer a equipa de futebol robótico CAMBADA, do IEETA, UA. Vão ser apresentados os robôs e seus princípios de funcionamento, vão ser visualizados vídeos de resumo de jogos oficiais e demonstrados os robôs ao vivo, num conjunto de jogadas e estratégias utilizadas pela equipa. ----------------------------------------- Fábrica Centro Ciência Viva de Aveiro joins the celebration of the European Robotics Week 2015, with the objective of promoting and publicizing robotics activities and investigation. In this activity, the participants will get to know the CAMBADA robotic soccer team, from IEETA, UA.
