Jornadas tecnorobóticas en las que empresas, entidades y colaboradores impartirán talleres a los alumnos, así como charlas al profesorado y la comunidad educativa. El centro también organizará actividades en las aulas relacionadas con la robótica y la ciencias bajo el título "Perdidos en el espacio".
Las jornadas tendrán lugar principalmente del 2 al 6 de noviembre, pero se realizarán actividades en fechas posteriores para facilitar la colaboración con nuevas iniciativas y la organización de actividades.

Presentation and starting up of a tree years project on educational robotics funced by OBM and the Umbria Industrail Association for the Umbria School.

“Competenze digitali per il futuro” frutto di una stretta collaborazione tra Fondazione IBM Italia, Ufficio Scolastico Regionale dell’Umbria, Regione Umbria e Confindustria Umbria che coinvolge cinque istituti scolastici umbri e che rappresenta il primo esperimento di questo genere in Italia.
Si tratta di un progetto di robotica educativa di durata triennale che intende valorizzare la robotica come strumento per avvicinare gli studenti al mondo dell’Intelligenza Aumentata. In particolare la Fondazione IBM Italia metterà a disposizione delle scuole selezionate venti TJBot. Gli studenti potranno accedere attraverso TJBot ai servizi di Watson, il sistema cognitivo IBM, in grado di interagire in linguaggio naturale, finalizzando la comunicazione uomo-macchina allo sviluppo di competenze.

The labour market cooperation will influence the awareness of correlation between knowledge and practice. Tra le novita' "basi di programmazione dei manipolatori Kuka. Primo livello, accessibile a tutti. Nel corso impareremo le basi di robotica sia hardware che software con abbinata la meccanica necessaria. Gli automi saranno mossi dai sistemi Micro-GT che integrano le unità a Micro controllore PIC. Programmeremo usando MPLAB X e il compilatore "C" dell'Hitech. Tra gli argomenti: Sensori ed attuatori, controllo PWM, controllo servo, interfacciamento al PC, protocolli di comunicazione sia cablati che WiFi. Telemetria, obstacle avoidhace, navigazione autonoma, zero moment point, eyes traking, basi di visione. Costruzione di un arto umanoide robotizzato e suo sistema di controllo. Piattaforme rover.
Impareremo ad usare anche la piattaforma software GT-PIC_Lab, che permette la programmazione delle schede con MicroPIC anche con il linguaggio Ladder ovvero quello usato per i PLC.
Studenti di Padova lezione dalle 20 alle 23 (inizialmente una volta alla settimana, poi si intensifica a 2), le date e orari verranno comunicate telefonicamente con inizio al raggiungimento del numero di 7 partecipanti, eventuali lezioni perse si possono recuperare.

The new one year project on educational robotics for schools (Istituzione scolastica Abbé Trèves e Fondazione Crétier-Joris, di Saint-Vincent; Istituto salesiano Don Bosco e Istituzione Scolastica Abbé Prosper Duc di Châtillon; Istituzione scolastica Evançon 2, di Champdepraz, Issogne e Verrès) started this November 2017.

Prende corpo il progetto 'Robotica educativa' della Biblioteca comunale di Saint-Vincent, che ha ottenuto il finanziamento da parte della Fondazione CRT, nell'ambito delle Erogazioni ordinarie 2017.
I laboratori didattici, cofinanziati dal Rotary Club di Aosta e, per la parte rimanente, dal Comune di Saint-Vincent, inizieranno dal mese di novembre 2017 e si protrarranno almeno sino a settembre 2018.

L'incontro si inserisce in un percorso a moduli indipendenti per permettere ai ragazzi di passare dalla programmazione alla realizzazione di un piccolo robot.

Depuis 18 ans, le Salon européen de l’éducation constitue le rendez-vous annuel qui rassemble les professionnels de l’éducation ainsi que des centaines de milliers de jeunes qui viennent réfléchir à leur orientation.

La communauté robotique nationale (FFROB, FFCR, Aquitaine Robotics…) dispose d’un espace à l’entrée de ce salon dans le village robotique.

Les professionnels participent à Educatec-Educatice, qui leur offre un espace d’échanges d’expériences et de réflexions, ainsi qu’une vitrine des dernières tendances et innovations technologiques appliquées à l’enseignement.

Les jeunes viennent quant à eux sur le Salon de l’orientation, lieu incontournable qui accueille le Salon de l’Etudiant, l’Aventure des Métiers et le Salon de l’ONISEP.

La Ligue de l'enseignement est à l’initiative du Salon européen de l’Education, sur lequel elle propose également une programmation riche : sur le Salon professionnel, avec les grands rendez-vous Educatec-Educatice/Ligue de l'enseignement autour de trois grands défis éducatifs et le Carré éducatif ; sur le Salon de l’orientation, via un espace dédié accueillant de nombreuses animations.

Middle school “S. Pertini” and high school IIS Olivetti of Orta Nova (Foggia) won a robotics project called for by the Ministry of Equal Opportunities of the Italian Government. Together, middle and hifg school students will be starting to program their robots.

La scuola “S. Pertini” di Orta Nova (Foggia) ha ottenuto un importante riconoscimento dall’adesione al progetto, promosso dalla presidenza del Consiglio dei ministri, dipartimento delle Pari Opportunità, rivolto alle istituzioni scolastiche, nell’ambito delle iniziative volte a sostenere le Pari Opportunità e a contrastare gli stereotipi di genere nei percorsi scolastici.
La candidatura al bando, a cui hanno partecipato le scuole di tutta Italia, ha collocato in posizione utile di graduatoria anche la scuola secondaria di 1° grado che ha ottenuto il finanziamento per il proprio percorso di approfondimento grazie al quale saranno attivati campi estivi, che si terranno dal 4 al 15 settembre 2017 presso l’I.I.S. “A. Olivetti” di Orta Nova (FG), rivolti in “primis” alle ragazze a fronte del principio che sta alla base del progetto, i ragazzi si metteranno alla prova con la matematica, la robotica e coding: nell’arco di 10 mattine per 4 ore, con il supporto di docenti formatori interni ed esterni delle scuole del territorio.
“Oltre a costruire un servizio importante per le famiglie che avranno l’opportunità di fruire gratuitamente di 10 giorni di scuola d’estate, l’iniziativa costituisce un importante ampliamento dell’offerta formativa per il nostro istituto – spiega il dirigente Pietro Vincenzo Piemontese -, andando sempre più nella direzione che ci caratterizza: la valorizzazione delle eccellenze in ambito matematico scientifico che cerchiamo di perseguire. Un grazie particolare a tutti coloro che prenderanno parte a questo progetto: il Comune di Orta Nova, nella persona del sindaco, Gerardo Tarantino, L’I.I.S. ‘A. Olivetti’ nella persona del dirigente scolastico, Giuseppe Russo, al referente del progetto, Lorenzo Ciuffreda, ai tutor interni della scuola, Angela Maria D’Arienzo e Maurizio Traisci e al tutor esterno Antonio Pierpaolo Maio dell’Olivetti”. Presentation and promotion of a highly-educated, but highly valued and highly instructive, super-technological creative lab for children and teenagers.
A first approach to electronics and robotics that will make everyone in a state of knowing, handling and welding resistors, capacitors, transistors and integrated circuits and building a small robot in very few hours.
A simple and exciting assisted learning path to understand and use engines, leds and sensors and can say, without shadow of denial, "That's what I did !!!".
The activities are organized by the USABILE volunteer association, in the field of awareness-raising activities (STEM) and in contrast to educational poverty.

Dentro del "Taller de la Palabra" hemos planteado a los grupos un microcuento titulado "Con qué sueñan los robots". Partimos de aquello que ya tiene un robot, de lo que tendrán en el futuro y de aquello que nunca podrán tener según nuestra opinión.

Programmazione informatica è questo il significato della parola inglese coding.
Il coding possiamo intenderlo come una nuova lingua che permette di “dialogare” con il computer per assegnargli dei compiti e dei comandi in modo semplice.
Giocando a programmare si impara ad usare la logica, a risolvere problemi e a sviluppare il “pensiero computazionale”, un processo logico-creativo che consente di scomporre un problema complesso in diverse parti, per affrontarlo più semplicemente un pezzetto alla volta, così da risolvere il problema generale. Con il coding quindi anche i bambini potranno risolvere problemi “da grandi”, e diventare soggetti attivi della tecnologia, creando un piccolo videogioco e delle storie in pochissimo tempo.

The Sohjoa Baltic Robobus will be exhibited to the public on 22-23 November. You will have the chance to meet the project representatives, learn more about autonomous driving technologies and experience the bus itself.

Baltic Sea region transitioning into eco-friendly autonomous last mile public transportation
Public transport is not as flexible and accessible as private cars are in the Baltic Sea region. The project works towards increasing the attractiveness of public transport by improving offered services and introducing automated driverless electric minibuses, especially for the first and last mile of the journey. It proposes recommendations for environmentally friendly and smart automated public transport and guidelines on the organisational set-up.

Let's learn robotics @ STEM academy
Show details
Our children and young people within the academy learn about logic, research and reflection, programming, robotics, using text, picture, sound and video tools, using cloud technology, secure and responsible digital communication and collaboration, through standalone and teamwork. Our comprehensive STEM academy education program focuses on the development of the knowledge and competencies necessary for every individual in the digital age, introducing the participants to the world of their future.

The STEM Academy program is divided into 8 levels that follow the age of the student, taking into account the higher levels and their prediction. Each level successively develops knowledge and skills in the field of logical thinking/mathematics, programming/engineering, research/science, robotics, collaboration/communication/cloud technology, starting with knowledge gained at previous levels or gaining through other forms of formal or informal education.
 
Through the game, problem and project approach our STEM students will develop their competencies, programmer, cognitive logic, structure their brain and learn another language - the language of digital devices. We begin by adopting the algorithm concepts, using visual environments for programming adapted to different ages (Minecraft, Moana, ScratchJr, Scratch), and end up at higher levels with application development by direct code writing.
 
Through our robotic education, which is being conducted on LEGO WeDo 2.0, mBot and LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robotic development kits, our STEMs will also receive relevant knowledge of mechanics, electronics, and programming.

ROBOT'2017 - Third Iberian Robotics Conference

ROBOT'2017 is focused on the Robotics scientific and technological activities in the Iberian Peninsula, although open to research and delegates from other countries. Also the conference will explore the future of robotics and relations of Robotics with other fields in its frontiers, including topics in Information and Communication Technologies, Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) and Mechanical Engineering, looking for synergies and new promising ideas.
The conference features 40 sessions covering a broad range of Robotics applications and an industrial track whose main purpose is to present industrial needs and recent achievements in robotic industrial applications looking to promote new collaborations between industry and academia. In total 150 papers authored by more than 500 researchers from 21 countries will be presented in the ROBOT'2017 conference.
