| Headmaster of San Giorgio Nautical School in Genova, Prof. Angela Pastorino, will outline the development of more than two years of activities of the National Network of Educational Robotics, of which Istituto Nautico is the National Center. The Network has already trained dozens of teachers from kindergarten to high school in using robotics kits in the educational activities at school. Prof. Cristina Da Ambrosi, of the Nautical School, will lead a short laboratory on Lego EV3. |

This extraordinary exhibit displays some artistic robots in honor of the Renaissance Italian engineer Janello Torriani. Experienced blacksmith, watchmaker of universal fame, excellent hydraulic engineer, court mathematician and renowned inventor, he was famous in life well beyond his own city walls. He built the most complex machines of the sixteenth century which will finally be exhibited, centuries later. One robot will be guiding you throughout the exhibit. And you will have the chance to see the robot that was used in the last scene of the movie The Best Offer (Italian: La migliore offerta - entitled Deception in the UK), an Englishlanguage romantic mystery film written and directed by Giuseppe Tornatore: Rob Higgs - Humanoid automata/ robot |
